Inspired by true events, Judas and the Black Messiah follows the life and legacy of Fred Hampton, chairman of the Black Panther party.

‘Judas and the Black Messiah’ hits the big screen TODAY, Friday (February 12th), TheseUrbanTimes own Terrell Thomas sat down with actor Daniel Kaluuya. Before the film hit the big screen, Daniel Kaluuya spoke with TheseUrbanTimes.

During our interview, Terrell Thomas and Daniel Kaluuya spoke on Daniel’s role as Chairman Fred Hampton and what it took for him to prepare for the role. Daniel shared his on screen relationship with Lakeith Stanfield, his notable roles that tell the stories of Black History and playing a role in Disney’s Black Panther and now playing the role of a real Black Panther, Chairman Fred Hampton.
