Mario Drops Off His New Visual “Mars”

Grammy Award-nominated singer and songwriter Mario drops his powerful video “Mars.” The track is the second single off of the R&B crooner’s upcoming project Closer To Mars which is set to release later this month. The broadcast premiere for “Mars” can be viewed on BET Soul, BET Her and the Viacom Times Square Billboard.

It’s officially fall, officially cuffing season, and cooler weather on the horizon, but Mario is keeping the temperature rising in “Mars.” In the co-directed Mario and Sterling Hampton video, two star-crossed lovers passionately express their adoration for one another from the living room to another galaxy.  For those feel good love song fans, “Mars” lyrics hit hard as the Baltimore native serenades “I know you don’t really wanna leave, they way you’re holding me. All we need is love, we don’t need gravity.” The entire video, performance and harmonies remind us as to why the multi-talented singer continues to take our breath away.

Along with the video, Mario also created a new line of merchandise to coincide the release. Fans can view “Mars” must haves hereCloser To Mars is available for pre-order as well as a chance to win a galaxy ceiling light projector, Mars planet lamp and pair of HD 450BT wireless headphones.
