Warner Bros. Has Announces Plans To Release Their Full 2021 film schedule on HBO Max

Wow! Talk about a shift in the movie and streaming industry.

Warner Bros. Pictures Group has announced that their entire 2021 theatrical slate will be released in both theaters and on HBO Max.

The first release will actually come later this month with the release of the upcoming film ‘Wonder Women:1984’ which will begin streaming on HBO Max on December 25th.

According to Uproxx, What makes this current move different is that Warner Bros. is now the first major studio to pivot an entire year’s worth of theatrical releases to streaming instead of taking a film-by-film approach as the pandemic continues to unfold. This will include major releases like  Space Jam 2, DuneThe Suicide Squad, and The Matrix 4.
