Amazon Music Releases Amazon Original Song and Music Video for “All Tractors Ain’t Green” by Jimmie Allen
The Amazon Original song by the GRAMMY-nominated artist launches for the upcoming documentary “For Love & Country,” premiering April 7 on Amazon Music and Prime Video
Amazon Music exclusively released a reimagined Amazon Original, “All Tractors Ain’t Green,” and accompanying music video by GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum recording artist Jimmie Allen.
The song and video are available now as part of the rollout for the upcoming documentary, For Love & Country. For Love & Country is directed by director and photographer Joshua Kissi, and premieres on the Amazon Music app and Prime Video on April 7.
“I have been in love with ‘Tractors Ain’t Green’ since I wrote it,” said Allen, of the song that originally appeared on his 2018 debut album Mercury Lane. “Creating a visual expression for this song really helps tell the story that we are a lot more alike than different.”
Jimmie Allen is a multi-platinum recording artist and songwriter who has been blazing trails since the beginning of his breakout career. Allen is currently nominated for Best New Artist at the 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards, his first ever GRAMMY nomination. He was recently nominated for Male Artist of the Year at the 57th ACM Awards, which he co-hosted alongside Dolly Parton, and was nominated for Outstanding New Artist nominee at the 53rd NAACP Image Awards. Allen launched his career with two consecutive No. 1 hits off Mercury Lane. His new single ‘Down Home’ was released March 8 – listen HERE and watch the music video HERE. The song marks the lead single from his forthcoming third album.
This is the second Amazon Music Original song and music video to be released on behalf of For Love & Country.“Black Myself (Amazon Original),” by Amythyst Kiah, was released in tandem with the film’s announcement on March 15th.
